Description
This is the rare non-commercial reissue of Antonio Carlos Jobim/Vinicius de Moraes “Brasilia Sinfonia da Alvorada” on CBS Especial 620.041. The record appears to be in new unplayed condition. The three-panel gatefold coated cover is in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout – with just slight foxing on the back panel and a 1/8” bump at the top right corner; inscribed on the back “Para Rafaelli com um abraco e as agradecimentas do Tom Jobim, Rio 14 Set 83”. Fold-out insert is included. This special reissue of the 1961 original was commissioned by Brazil’s Department of Tourism for distribution to select international embassies. It was not intended for commercial release or sale. $250.00.
