Description
This case of music cylinders for gramophone contains thirty four wax records. Case was found with Edison Gramophone in a farmhouse closet in Southern Ohio. Entire lot is being sold as is and I am starting the bidding at one dollar per record with no reserve. Cylinders are dirty, some have mold, and none have been tested. I have done nothing to clean them as I understand this takes an expert and I did not want to do any damage. There are blue and black cylinders and some have a patent date of 1902 and many are marked Thomas Edison. Cylinders are just over 4" tall and 2" in diameter. This auction will require a leap of faith on the part of the buyer; no returns accepted as I am selling entire lot as is after describing it to the best of my ability with no intent to defraud. If just half of records are ok it is still a bargain. All that being said I will list records below.
