Description
This is an extremely rare STEREO box set of the Bruckner Symphony #8, conducted by the legendary Carl Schuricht. The EMI ASD 602/3 set easily commands >$1000 in average shape. Even the Angel set is near impossible to find (there is no US stereo version entry on Discogs!). And it's not just a trophy record: the performance is intense and powerful, ranks amongst the best on disc. Those who bashes poor Angel sound should listen to this atmospheric yet detailed, full-bodied set!
Record condition: NM/EX+/NM/EX (shiny matrix w/ couple short light scuffs, plays very well w/ odd light statics. S.3 has brief, barely audible clicks near the start, then quiet.)
Box condition: EX+ (slight edge wear)
Insert condition: NM
Note: I'm a collector, not a dealer. The reason I'm selling is to downsize my collection.
