I am parting with some real gems in my collection this week. I have to pay some bills and unfortunately this is how I have to make that happen. Parting with these is not an easy decision.. I've spent 35 years amassing this killer collection and I'm going to start selling off some to you, the lucky folks who can now proudly own them. Angel of Mercy The Avatar LP. ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING!!!  A truly impossible record to find these days, a very small press run on the private The Record Company label from Las Vegas. 1987 original release. This is NOT a bootleg or reissue - this is the REAL DEAL! One of the true holy grails of heavy metal record collecting. If you're looking at this, you know. If you don't know, look it up.  I must be insane to start a $600++ record at $9.99, but I'll let you, the metal maniacs of the world, decide what it's worth!

The LP has been played - it is still in exceptional condition, with only a few stray light marks and sleeve scuffs, but nothing that will interfere with playback. Visually, the record grades out at EX, only a couple sleeve scuffs keep it from NM. There is an issue in the actual pressing of the wax that creates a bit of intermittent background noise during the first couple tracks - it is a pressing defect found on a few copies of this release. The record plays through fine, no skips or pops, but there is that little bit of interference in the first couple tracks. I've personally played this LP and enjoyed it very much despite this - it's purely a subjective thing whether it bothers you or not. It is NOT throughout the whole record, just the first couple tracks. Playback rating is VG to VG+ depending on your perspective, and that's ONLY because of the aforementioned pressing issue.This record is so rare that you probably will never see another outside of a fixed price auction! I am selling the record as is, and I totally think it's worth owning such a highly coveted piece of metal history! The music is mind blowing! The cover has a bit of creasing, edge and corner wear, mild but still there. I'm grading it at VG+. As always, see the high resolution pics for all the details.
