Description

Up for sale is Andrew Hill's epic trio date "Smokestack", that actually is a quartet date for it's use of two basses. Often overshadowed by Hill's magnum opus "Point of Departure", this can really hold it's own for it's deep, concentrated energy. This is the role model of the stuff, guys like Binker&Moses play nowadays.


This is the limited Connaisseur pressing by Capitol from 1995. Both record and vinyl are in excellent condition, with no major flaws.

Only the label has a sticker on side one.
