Description
This is Blue Note Records BST-84160, Andrew Hill Smokestack, a blue and white, New York USA label original stereo issue of this classic recording with RVG and the ear (p) mark stamped in the dead wax. The session features Eddie Khan, Richard Davis and Roy Haynes. The record is in Near Mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The cover, with the 43 West 61st Street, New York 23 address and printed spine, has a very small bump on the upper right corner, and a small tear under stereo on the back, but is excellent and intact.. The labels are excellent with no spindle marks. The original inner sleeve is included. This is a superb collector's grade copy of this rare Blue Note original issue with all the proper markings evident. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
