Description

This is Blue Note Records BLP 4167, Andrew Hill Point Of Departure, a blue and white New York USA Microgroove label original mono issue of this classic record with the ear (p) mark and Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. The record is in Near Mint  condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The cover, with the 43 West 61st St. New York 23 address, is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. An original thumbnail inner sleeve is included as well. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode. This is a superb collector's grade copy of this iconic original mono Blue Note with all the appropriate markers evident. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple wins.
