Description
A rare 1966 Blue Note Liberty Records label copy of Andrew Hill- Black Fire. This is a stereo reissue with VAN GELDER STEREO stamped in the run out grooves ( see photos)
Degritter cleaned, the vinyl has retained an excellent lustre with a couple of paper marks and on Side 2, a couple of faint scuffs, nothing remotely feelable. Clean labels and spindle holes - graded EX
It plays beautifully with smooth and vibrant in the room sound typical of a Van Gelder pressing. No jumping, skating or sticking, no playback issues to note.
The outer sleeve is still doing the job but with wear and a 19cm split to top edge. The spine is worn with flaking and a small split The rear notes section is intact, clean and legible. Please see photos for overall sleeve condition.
The record will be sent separated out in an archival outer sleeve to prevent transit splits.
