Rare album by Ananda Shankar.  The record sleeve is in good condition with the usual fraying at the edges, but the record itself is in mint condition – the record has always been stored vertically in a record cabinet.

"Mesmerizing cultural crossover instrumentals led by tabla rhythm section and accented with moog and sitar. Shankar produced around half a dozen of these albums blending his love for traditional Indian music with '60s Western pop music experimentation. The results are astonishing, and the LP featured here is probably his most popular. Shankar is essentially India's answer to Jimi Hendrix. Soulful, spiritually minded and enormously talented."
