Description
A very rare four-LP set of transcription discs comprising the entire four-hour episode of American Top 40 with Casey Kasem from December 27, 1975, counting down and playing the bottom 50 of the year’s top 100 singles. It includes Queen’s “Killer Queen” at #78 (released in late '74, but charted in the US in '75). Also has tracks by Alice Cooper (“Only Women Bleed”) Ringo Starr (“Only You” and “No No Song”), Jethro Tull (“Bungle in the Jungle”), Paul McCartney (“Junior’s Farm”) and ELO (“Can’t Get It Out of My Head”). All four discs are excellent to mint condition with a few very light sleeve marks. They were almost certainly only played once (on the air in 1975). The set comes complete with all of the original cue sheets (which are in excellent condition).
