Very cool and rare scary story Halloween lp with amazing front cover art and awesome story telling by George Irving with creepy movie like background music with light synthesizers and dramatic electronic sounds.
This copy apparently came from the Washington D.C. public library as noted on front barcode and on lp label. I've owned this copy for over 15 years.
Vinyl is glossy and shiny; but shows plenty of careless handling marks seen under light, especially being a loaned library copy. It's a quietly recorded lp with the spoken story telling and light background music. The marks do cause some unwanted noise in rotation in some tracks, especially the beginning of each side, but gets better as the sides progress. Side 2 seems to have more noise in tracks than side 1. There are no skips or jumps, nor are the marks deep. This was a very quietly recorded that any imperfection or mishandling could possibly be heard. It's still enjoyable and listenable, some tracks play just fine. I'm grading it VG-
Sleeve is in protective plastic library sleeve with all the normal library decals and history. I noticed some splitting on bottom spine at opening. Gorgeous and wicked cover art!
Shipped in LP mailer with all seams taped and with extra padding.
