Almeida & Salli Terri –
DUETS WITH THE SPANISH GUITAR –
Angel S-36050 of SP-8461 –
TAS –
Factory Sealed
A sweeter recording you will not find.
This is the Angel release of the acclaimed SP-8461, featuring Laurindo Almeida accompanying the wonderful mezzo voice of Salli Terri, in songs that range from the traditional to Chopin and Ibert to Ovalle and Faure.
From a series of duet albums long recognized by TAS as superb recordings, this edition is the Angel analog re-mastering, here factory sealed.
A very fine record, with air and space, and a very intimate sense of detail. One of the best in that regard, hands down.
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
