Description
The Allman Brothers Band : "At Fillmore East" (Stereo)
Capricorn SD 2-802 (2-LP)
This is the ORIGINAL 1971 US pressing with pink colored labels and thick glossy gatefold jacket.
A rare example of this iconic release in NEAR MINT condition, both wax and jacket. The wax is stunning !!! Looks and plays "like new".
(Additional details below.)
Arguably one of the greatest live albums in rock 'n' roll history, recorded at the Fillmore East on 12-13 March 1971.
Features the original lineup, with Duane Allman and Dicky Betts on guitar, Gregg Allman on vocals and keyboards, Berry Oakley on bass, Butch Trucks on drums and Jai Johanny Johanson on various percussions.
To confirm this as a genuine original US pressing, note the photos of the labels and the matrix numbers hand etched in the dead wax:
Side One: ST-CAP-712223CCC-1 AT-GP D PR
Side Two: ST-CAP-712225-CCC-1-111 AT/GP D PR
Side Three: ST-CAP-712226-CCC-1 AT/GP D PR
Side Four: ST-CAP-712224CCC-1 AT/GP D PR
This is the Richmond IN pressing with label variation.
Vinyl: Near Mint
Stunning wax !!! The wax on both platters looks and plays "like new", with only the very lightest of inner paper sleeve scuff marks seen under bright light (not under normal lighting).
Exceptionally high gloss remains, now 45+ years old !!!
The sound quality here is wonderful. And what a listen !!! Surely one of the most iconic and enjoyable recordings in rock 'n' roll history.
Labels look like new, clean and bright with no spindle marks.

Jacket: Near Mint
The gatefold jacket is just a bit shy of "like new", with only minor rub wear present on some corners.
Front and back jacket photos remain highly glossy.
Inside jacket photo and track / credit listings look "like new".
Spine print is crystal clear.

This is an absolutely superb copy of The Allman Brothers Band classic live 2-LP album "At Fillmore East" as the original 1971 US pressing.
The wax is in stunning condition, plays "like new". The jacket is near mint. You will be very "hard pressed" to find a copy of this iconic release in finer condition that is not sealed.
A wonderful piece of rock history and a great listen. Hoping this one goes to a good home.
