Description
Alice Cooper is an American singer, songwriter, and occasional actor whose career spans five decades (1963 to present). Cooper is considered to be "The Godfather of Shock Rock", and is credited with helping to shape the sound and look of heavy metal as an artist who first introduced horror imagery to Rock'n Roll. School's Out is the fifth album by Alice Cooper released in 1972. School's Out reached #2 on the US Billboard 200 Chart, and has remained a staple song receiving regular airplay. School's Out is loosely a concept album based around school and coming of age. This is the original cover with the sleeve opening in the manner of a flip-top wooden student desk (the actual desk is on display in Hard Rock Cafe, Las Vegas). The vinyl record inside is wrapped in a pair of aged pink-paper panties (the paper panties were 'discontinued' when they were found to be flammable). The cover is in Very Good+ condition, WB # BS-2623. The vinyl LP has the WB green label, and is in Very Good+ condition. Thank you for looking.
