Description

Alice Cooper is an American singer, songwriter, and occasional actor whose career spans decades (1963 to present).  Cooper is considered to be  'The Godfather of Shock-Rock',  and is credited with helping to shape the sound and look of heavy metal.  Pretties For You (1969) is the debut album by the Alice Cooper band.  At this time, the name "Alice Cooper" referred to the band, not it's lead singer.  The music has a psychedelic flavor to it, a bit too bizarre for it's time.  Pretties For You was a critical and commercial failure, only briefly denting the Billboard Top 200.  The original artwork (with peeking panties) was done by Edward Beardsley, and was hanging on the living room wall in Frank Zappa's house.  The gatefold album cover is in very good+ condition.  The vinyl is in very good+ condition with a pair of initials written on the Side 1, Straight Label.  Thank you for looking.
