Grading:

Record condition: A couple of hairlines and light scratches on side A, nothing deep. Side B similar with one larger mark shown on the photo, also not deep, VG+

Label condition: No spindle marks or writings, like new. ‘NOT FOR SALE’ stamped on label, Mint-

Cover condition: Lots of wear and creases on the edges and corners and on the top right side. Cut out on the bottom left side (which can be expected by a record not for sale as cut outs were usually only put on promos and stock to delete), no splits, VG+

Most of the time testpressing were issued without a printed cover in a plain sleeve with an info sheet, so this one must be produced at a late stage when the cover was already printed and available.

Inner Sleeve condition: Similar to the cover the innersleeve has wear on the sides and edges, some creases and also the cut out on the bottom left. Right side has a split. The back side has also been stamped with ‘NOT FOR SALE’, VG+

Grading overview:

I grade vinyl, cover and extras visually under a bright light

Mint (M):

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as sealed or unplayed should be Mint. All none sealed records I grade maximum with M-

Excellent (EX):

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG):

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.

Good (G):

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Happy bidding and any questions please ask! Stay heavy!
