Original 1962 UK Ace Of Clubs LP, laminated picture sleeve, ACL1130.
GRADING:
Cover - Very Good Minus
Front laminated sleeve.
Slight corner bend at top right.
About six laminate nail marks on the front sleeve and slight lifting along spine.
About 2" of wear along top seam.
Wear at sleeve opening.
Couple of small tears on spine and a few spine creases.
General age wear and discolouration.
All flipbacks are intact on rear sleeve.
Discolouration and dirt picked up on rear sleeve.
Original decca inner sleeve with age discolouration and small tear at centre.
Record - Very Good Minus
ARL 5605 1B matrix numbers.
Labels are pretty clean with no writing.
Plenty of scuffing/storage/light marks on vinyl.
One deeper mark that runs across tracks 1 to 3 on side 1.
Despite the marks it actually plays quite nicely. There is obviously some background noise in places but I didn't find it too overpowering. Certainly an acceptable play copy.
Summary
Quite a difficult original album to find but please bear in mind condition before buying to avoid disappointment.
Our grading is based on the system used by Record Collector magazine as described below (We don't sell records with a grading of less than very good).
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Record will be sent in a cardboard cruciform record mailer with additional cardboard stiffeners for extra protection. The record is also placed in a protective polythene sleeve. The record/inner will be removed from the main sleeve to guard against any seam/spine damage during postage.
