ARTIST: Alexander "Skip" Spence

TITLE: Oar

LABEL: Columbia Records, CS 9831, 1969 US pressing

CONDITION: NM/M-

SLEEVE: NM sleeve, only flaws are some edgewear on bottom, nearest the corners, hint of ringwear on back cover. and a minor age mark on front cover top right of picture, and near spine, barely visible. With original Columbia company inner sleeve.

RECORD: M-, I am not sure this record had ever been played before! I play graded start to finish and I am stunned at the condition. Playback is perfect, strong and loud. Wow!

COMMENTS: There are not enough superlatives to describe not only the quality of this music but of the condition of this copy. Stored carefully and with love for many decades , this is easily the nicest copy of this record one could find in 2022. Ignored upon it's release, Skip Spence's only solo album has been a favorite of collectors for years. Reissued multiple times with extras, this is the original real deal 1st pressing. The pictures speak for themselves but please feel free to ask for more. This masterpiece is never seen in this condition!
