Blues from the Roundhouse by Alex Corner’s Breakdown Group featuring Cyril Davis is a legendary rarity there being only 99 copies produced.
Ten inch vinyl
In its original cover and white inner slip.
The record itself was immensely tight in its outer cover that at first I thought some kind of corrosion had welded the two together but after picking away bit by bit it eventually came out…this is most likely why there is damage to the outer sleeve on the outer edge, a small section has been lost at the rear and some lamination lost at the front commensurate with a struggle between the inner slip and the cover in removing the former.
Once I had it removed both the slip and record were in amazingly fresh and crisp condition …77 LP2 with matrix Dav LP 137 and Dav LP 138.
The vinyl itself if certainly VG plus or better, a couple of faint surface only scratches, plays well with occasional light background noise but that’s probably the recording quality…really nice record..the centre label is like new and I doubt the records has been played more than a couple of times.
