Description

ARDENT Records   ADS-1501  M-/M-   Matrix nos. STXS-0740-3/0741-3  US original DJ PROMO album. From Memphis, Tennessee, the Box Tops were a great white soul sounding band in the late 60's. Led by guitarist Alex Chilton, The Box Tops recorded several fine albums and hit songs. Chilton then formed his new band, Big Star, and this is their 2nd album, Radio City. And by the way... their BEST !!! Killer powerful soul flavored pop music begins right from the start with the opening number, O My Soul. With a catchy twangy guitar riff and a thunderous drum beat, a must to PLAY LOUD!! But it doesn't end here, other great songs include You Get What You Deserve, and September Gurls. Cover is clean, solid and NEAR MINT. The vinyl is beautiful and shiny, STUNNING NEAR MINT. The factory stamped DJ PROMO labels have NO spindle marks, looks unplayed!!!  AMAZINGLY RARE!!!
