Description

This listing is for a rare, original vinyl LP of the blues album by Albert King called Born Under A Bad Sign.

It was released in 1967 on the Stax label with catalog # S 723.
This is a US stereo first pressing of the album.
The record itself is in good condition with some visible, but mostly light hairline surface scratches & scuffs.

Surface noise is present at times, but not overly distracting in my opinion.

There is also some light dust/dirt and a few finger print smudges, so a thorough cleaning would remove that and probably brighten the sound even more.

If using industry grading I would grade this disc as a lower end VG+ since the scratches it has are not deep. But some might think it's a very high end VG.

The jacket has a lot of visible wear on the spine, edges, corners, as well as an old sticker in the upper left corner of the front cover.

There are no actual seam splits, but the spine and top edge do have a lot of wear.

I would grade the cover as a lower end VG. I don't think it's in poor enough shape to warrant a G+ grade.

Stored in a smoke free home, out of any direct sunlight, and away from any extreme temperature changes.

Please see the various images on this listing for further details on the condition of the record & sleeve.
