Up for sale a serious rare free jazz gem from Albert Ayler, first made in few copies by the cult danish jazz label DEBUT

Albert Ayler together with Norman Howard, Henry Grimes, Earl Henderson & Sonny Murray

All Selctions composed by Ayler and recorded in New York City 1964 - this is DEBUT 146
with serious notes from Ole Vestergaard Jensen on the back and a wonderfull spiritual cover drawing
or design : Nina Aae

This is the first analogue produced by the danish jazz aficionado Jørgen Frigaard and Robert Altschuler ( Atlantic Records
and earlier Candid !) recorded by Phil Iehle ( Atlantic Recording Corporation )

In my opinion this is the best edition ever made, forget about reissues, digital, MP 3 and other sound reducing formats

The record is close to 50 years old, and allthough I prefer to sell records at least EX/EX, this is so rare and still collectable

Condition record:
graded close to VG++ visual and sound: no jumps, no hizz, and repetative clics, but some very, very weak pops now and then

Condition cover:
graded to overall VG, the paste on frontcover is close to EX, but the soft white paper back is discoloured, and has a minor
rip repair and the paper on the spine is almost gone, but not split - the top and bottom seams are almost intact.....
It is a very sensitive cover from start, so with this in mind, still a nice cover
