"Legendary underground counterculture artefact from the famous author, lecturer and LSD philosopher. Often referred to as "the first psychedelic LP", this is an extraordinary session of improvised free-form music, chanting and a few bizarre Watts monologues. Recorded at a time when Watts' interest in hallucinogens was at its peak (documented in his "Joyous Cosmology" book), the mood is tribal and the energy level very high. Timeless testament from a wayout era, connecting the 50s beatnik and 60s freak eras."
