Description

This is part of a big auction of 45's from several small 1950's label that I'm running this week. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for an all-rockabilly auction starting 9/25 and an all Los Angeles label auction (Modern/RPM/Imperial, etc.) in October

Release: The Dodgers - Drip Drop / Cat Hop

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1955


Notes: One of only two singles released by this NYC-based group.  Again, really good stuff on this.  There are just so many hidden gems in these early 50's records that have been lost to history.  Pretty straight forward doo-wop, not a schmaltzy as some of the later stuff.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape. Super-clean with no noticeable scratches or scuffs, almost no wear at all. Both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are very nice with original gloss and no writing/tears, just a couple of stray spindle marks.  See pics, but this is a really nice copy overall.
