This LP was the personal copy of musician Al Kooper - known for his work with Bob Dylan, Blood Sweat and Tears, The Tubes, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Mike Bloomfield, The Blues Project, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones and The Who just to name a few. This LP was acquired along with his entire record collection.

Notes: Kooper’s own description of these LPs from an interview with Tape Op: “I used to make those albums up for Christmas and send them out — actual LPs back in the day. And they were called the Kapusta Kristmas Albums — I think it goes up to six. "Studio humor" is what I called it. There were some amazing things. It actually changed the comedic culture of the country. There were things that were on The Simpsons that came from these. I became friends with Matt Groening, and I asked him about that and he said he got it from one of those albums. I am a frustrated comedian at heart. We only pressed up 300 of them each year, but they were then cassette-d to thousands more by the people that got the 300, and it really went all around the world.”

Records are shipped outside of their sleeves in a new poly-bag (records with a printed sleeve are shipped in a plain paper inner to prevent wear) in a box style mailer, which have stronger sides and corners than conventional mailers.

Postage prices are by weight; combined shipping is the total cost of the package plus handling fee. 

In the USA records are shipped via media mail with tracking at the cost of approx $5 for the first LP and $1 for each additional LP. Insurance is required on all purchases over $100. Priority mail is available on request.

To Canada LPs are shipped via First Class Mail International. One LP is $16 USD – prices for multiple LPs are available by request.

To the rest of the world LPs are shipped via First Class Mail International. One LP is $24 - prices for multiple LPs are available by request.

International packages over 4 pound must be shipped Priority Mail International.
