Description
Early (1971) pressing of one of Ahmad Jamal's most celebrated sessions. A must-have record!
Vinyl is VG, play wear is low and the majority of it sounds great. There are a number of scuffs and light scratches, no skips, but a couple tracks do have surface noise and clicks that can be a little distracting in quieter passages. Played it a couple times and found it to be enjoyable, especially with my microline stylus, which rides a little lower in the groove.
Sleeve is G+, thankfully that incredibly front cover design is mostly spared, but there is some moisture damage that affects the lower front and back of the sleeve, with the back gatefold having some noticeable tearing on the bottom and side, and a split lower seam.
All in all, not the cleanest copy, but a totally playable and reasonably presentable starter copy of a hard-to-find classic.
