Description

This is the 2xlp release of "the Mantle" by the awesome Agalloch.  Released in a very limited edition of 500 copies on grey vinyl, this is a very rare piece from this underground American Black Metal band.  Originally issued on cd three years earlier, this 2005 release on wax was a joint effort from The End Records (here as Infinite Vinyl), Grau Records, and Profound Lore labels.  Comes complete with lyrics printed on an inner sleeve and exclusive artwork not found on the cd version.

These records are both in as close to flawless condition as possible.  No skips, no pops, no problems anywhere, and the sound is fantastic.  The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition, as are both inner sleeves.  The only conceivable complaint would be the fingerprint oils left on the inner sleeves, and that even is very minimal and only visible in some lighting.  The grading for this 2xlp has to be NM and nothing less.  It was played only once to check its condition, and after that it was kept in a protective sleeve while the cd version got the everyday wear.

As with other items I've posted for sale this week, this is one that I've decided to part with simply because of two factors:  I have it on cd, and I need to pay off some expenses from my recent move of house.  Although it's a fantastic piece with a good deal of sentimental value, I cannot see moving house again and dragging along a crate of music that I have on both cd and vinyl.  This version is the one with resale value, so off it will go to a good new home.  If this piece has caught your attention, then it's a good idea to take a look at the other items I've listed this week, vinyl, cd and cassette.  More Agalloch and other rare pieces are there for the having.

Record will ship within 3 business days of receipt of payment.  As the maximum limit for shipping and handling allowed by ebay is less than the cost of any other domestic rate than Media Mail, that's the option I offer.  This is a double lp and is relatively heavy vinyl, so the cost of shipping is rather more for first class postage.  If you live within the U.S. and wish it to be sent first class, please contact me by email and we can work something out.  I charge the actual postage cost + a very small amount for safe packaging.  International shipping is as listed below, and will be sent USPS First Class Mail International, with handling included in that price.

Paypal only.  Return accepted for full refund, but for defect only.  This record plays perfectly, so this should not be an issue.  If for some reason it is defective for you, you must contact me within 7 days of receipt of item.  Item must be returned to me, and a full refund will be given through PayPal.

Thanks for your interest, and please check my other listings for more out of print and obscure music.
