Here's another hard-to-find LP - a very nearly MINT copy of the "After The Riot At Newport" LP for your collection! It may be the only near MINT copy available now - it's 52 years old!
"After The Riot At Newport" is an album by The Nashville All-Stars, which was recorded live after the cancellation of their appearance at the 1960 Newport Jazz Festival.
This group of Nashville session players played a mixture of pop and jazz standards. The all-star lineup featured guitar legends Hank Garland and Chet Atkins, saxophonist Boots Randolph, pianist/violinist Brenton Banks, pianist Floyd Cramer, bassist Bob Moore, drummer Buddy Harman, and vibes prodigy Gary Burton, who was only 17 years old at the time.
Even though the players were playing country music day-in and day-out in Nashville sessions, they had a deep love of jazz and played often at the Carousel Club on Printer's Alley in Nashville.
When their much-anticipated festival performance was canceled due to an unruly crowd, the group documented their performance anyway, recording on the back porch of a mansion RCA had rented during the festival (depicted by the drawing on the cover.)
Two of the songs, "Nashville to Newport" and "Riot-Chous" were composed for the occasion, the latter after the riot on the night prior to recording.
You won't find another copy of this LP in this condition easily - here's a special copy for your collection.
I'm listening to the LP right now and it sounds OUTSTANDING - the vinyl looks so good! The LP has light paper scuffing, and a very slight scuff on side 2.
The cover is in outstanding shape as well. Very slight ring wear (hard to find in this condition when a cover has so much white space). There is a small seam split on the top and a wider one on the bottom. Look at the photos!
You owe it to yourself to grab this copy of "After The Riot At Newport" while you can! If you don't, it will take a while for another this good to pass your way.

OUR GRADING SCALE FOR RECORDS:
"Sealed - Mint" (M): When someone says something’s “Mint condition,” this is what they’re talking about. The album is sealed in its original packaging and has never been played. Period.
"Mint" (M-): This is the highest grade for a records that has been played. The album is in excellent condition and shows no visible signs of wear or damage that will affect sound quality. Perhaps a very slight pop or tick, but almost perfect.
"VG++": The condition is very good, but there may be slight ring or cover wear, the cover may have minor seam splitting or the vinyl may have light visual marks. There could be slight surface sound.
"VG+": The LP vinyl may have light scratches or other visual blemishes, but should play through without skipping or repeating. Light surface noise and/or crackle may be present. Covers may have moderate ring and/or edge wear, cut-outs / hole punches, or a moderate seam split. We only sell this grade when it's a rare record - otherwise, these go to the thrift store!
"Good" and below: We consider any item graded at or below "Good" as something you don't want and we won't offer! The sound quality is low and the cover may be in very poor shape. We only offer albums rated VG and above unless a record is so rare that its presence in the collection transcends the poor quality of the vinyl or cover.
Note: Our grading system is not based on the Goldmine system. If you have any questions about the grading of a specific item, please don't hesitate to ask.
I grade these LPs under a 100w halogen light.
Payments: Must be made via PayPal. Required within 3 days from end of auction.

Shipping: In the US, I ship through USPS media mail. (Please note that media mail can take 2-9 business days.) Delivery confirmation and tracking is included (U.S. only).
Worldwide, I ship either USPS First Class or USPS Priority Mail. Import duties, taxes and fees are the responsibility of the buyer. I will not list a lower sales price on the customs form, and I will not list merchandise as a "gift," so do not ask. I always package my items carefully to ensure their safe journey to you. However, I cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. I ship it, I can prove it and the rest is up to your country's postal service.
Return Policy: No returns. I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible. This is a used, 50+ year old LP, and while it is in great condition, it is not and can not be perfect.

No returns, but if you bid and win, you'll be pleased. I've gone to a "no returns" policy because many folks have started buying items on eBay and then complain and ask to return an item, hoping sellers will offer a partial refund instead, thereby lowering the price paid. I am accurate in my descriptions and I will answer any questions and post additional pictures to help anyone decide whether or not to move forward. Check my feedback.
Thanks for looking, and for reading this far. Check out my other auctions. This week, I'll list turntables, LPs, and antique fishing equipment from my Dad's estate.
Questions: Please ask! Write with questions - I'll answer promptly and post for all to see. Check my feedback and bid with real confidence.

Thank you! Please check out my other records and good luck bidding!
