The Minnesota-based metalcore group's sixth studio long-player and the follow-up to 2016's Dig Deep, Evergreen delivers another punitive blast of djent-fueled mayhem. After the Burial's second studio LP after the tragic loss of guitarist Justin Lowe, the nine-track set makes good on the promise of earlier outings like In Dreams and Wolves Within via punishing blasts of aural fury like "Behold the Crown" and "Exit Exist." ~ James Christopher Monger
