Heavy Meters style Afro Funk from Italy

AFRICAN REVIVAL - SOUL MAKOSSA b/w PITCH BLACK on DURIUM from 1973

Description: Original italian only promotional pressing of this really obscure combo from Italy. Really incredible double-sider feauturing two heavy afro funk tracks. "Soul Makossa", a cover version of Manu Dubango's classic joint, is really one of the best version you may hear so far among with the All Direction's one. "Pitch Black" is awesome! Heavy Meters break beat, afro horns and heavy guitar. Music for an obscure radio program "Il Mangiavoci". Really rare and collectable item!

 

Conditions: Original company sleeve is EX. Record is EX with very few superficial air lines that does not affect play, still plays great and loud! Sound clip is recorded from the actual record for sale. Please listen carefully to it!
