Great copy of super scarce AEOLIAN VOCALION 1242 by the ORIGINAL DIXIELAND JASS BAND - Reisenweber Rag/LOOK AT 'EM DOING IT NOW....this is an extraordinary rarity and an important early jazz record ( released even before the "Jass" had morphed into what is now called "JAZZ"!)..The ODJB were the first early true JAZZ Band to hit it big..and they hit it at New York's late Victorican era Night Club/Restaurant REISENWEBER'S...where the band was holding a residency when these sides were recorded..
The Aeolean discs are all super rare and in fact were recorded BEFORE the main batch of more common VICTOR records were made ( only one release on Victor had occured prior to this disc).
