Zu dieser Schellackplatte / About this shellac recording:

Die Olympia-Glocke wurde 1935 vom "Verein für Gussstahlfabrikation" gegossen.

Gem. Auskunft des "Deutschen Rundfunkarchivs" handelt es sich wohl bei dieser Schellackplatte um eine Teil-Dokumentation zur Olympia-Glocke. Die Gesamt-Dokumentation hatte wohl einen Umfang von insgesamt 10 Schellackplatten. Diese Schellackplatte ist eine Tonaufnahme zur Abschiedskundgebung / Abschiedsveranstaltung der Olympischen Spiele 1936 in Berlin.

Die Schellackplatte hat einen Durchmesser von 30 cm, ist nur einseitig abspielbar von "innen" nach "außen".

The Olympic Bell was cast in 1935 by the "Verein für Gussstahlfabrikation".

According to the information form "Deutschen Rundfunkarchiv" (German Broadcasting Archives), this shellac record is probably a documentation of the Olympic Bell. The whole documentation probably contained 10 shellac records. This shellac record is a sound recording of the farewell rally / farewell event of the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin.

The shellac record has a diameter of 30 cm (12 inch) and can be played only on one side from "inside" to "outside".
