Description

The Backbone Of America Is A Mule And Cotton by Abner Jay. This is the very rare mono pressing on the private label Brandie Records. Cat# SoN 122161. This album is a mix of Blues, Country, Americana and Folk. The title cut is by Abner Jay. All other songs are by Stephen Foster or a combination of Gospel and old Negro Spirituals. The vinyl is in NM condition with little sign of wear and only a few hairlines which do not effect the sound quality. The cover is in VG++ condition with only some very slight edging along the right side, a couple of slight corner dings (possibly from either storage or handling) and a small 1/4" tear on the spine where the album may have been accidently been bumped up against something.
