GOLDMINE GRADING
Mint (M) - Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still cellophane sealed
Near Mint (EX or NM) - The record should show no obvious signs of wear. A 45 RPM or EP sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling.  - The cover will have no creases, folds, seam split/separation or other noticeable defects.  - The same applies to (original) inner sleeves and any release inserts (posters, lyric sheets etc.). - Records in near mint condition will look as new with removed or 'neat cut' cellophane.
Very Good Plus (VG+) - The record may show some signs that it was played and/or handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.  - Record surfaces may show some signs of light wear (scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences). Slight warps that do not cause jumps/skips. - Records stored in 45 die-cut sleeves (without inner sleeve ingress protection) - Labels may have some ring wear or discolouration, but it should be barely noticeable. The centre hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play and spindle marks will be minimal if any at all  - Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, creases, lightly turned up corners or a slight seam split.
Very Good (VG) - Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise may be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music. Groove wear may start to be noticeable, as with light scratches. - Some visual grades are VG but with a play quality that is VG+ (such instances will be included in description). - Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.
Good (G), Good Plus (G+) - Good means Good. - A record in Good or Good+ condition will play through without jump/skip.  - The record will have some significant surface noise, scratches and possibly visible groove wear.  - A cover or sleeve will have seam splits/separation, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear and/or other defects will start to overwhelm the object.
*Any grade lower than Good may be listed with a full description of specific defects.  *Combined postage applies to multiple purchases
