As records go, there are few popular releases, ever, that can match this. Cat's music was at its peak and the production values he demanded were among the very best. The result, quite frankly, in this UK pressing, is astounding on a very fine Hi-fi system…open, powerful, the definition entirely inescapable and captivating.
(Fact is, when William Johnson finished setting up an Audio Research system in my store, with Magneplanars, he requested this record for the christening.)
A favorite of mine. This record, in fact, gave birth to the audiophile in me, here in an edition that is flawless: Jacket is crisp; UK pressing inside is a pancake platter that is near mint, if not better.
An audiophile classic, to be sure; truly one of the best.

Records Worth Owning
Some have noted the ILPM notation, instead of the ILPS, thinking this edition is mono. It is not. Definitely stereo, this UK edition is a UK anniversary pressing. -vance
