AUTOGRAPHED (by Cozy Powell) Vintage Vinyl/LP. Emerson, Lake, & Powell. Self-Titled. Progressive Rock/Pop. Probable DJ copy. 1986. Polydor/Polugram, 829-297.
The record itself is in very good condition. I have tested/played it twice, and it plays great…like all vinyl, it has some hissing and popping; but it only has minor cosmetic wear and scratches. The cover is in very good condition. The colors pop and it has only minor signs of wear (particularly on the edges and corners); there IS a thin slot cut in one corner, which I believe indicates this was a DJ copy. The sleeve is the original glossy logo/lyric sheet in good condition (a few folds and scuffs).
The autograph/inscription, by one of the band members (Cozy Powell) is in black marker, very crisp, and legible. It reads "To Bob Keep Listening & Good Luck Cozy Powell". I cannot say for certain that the autograph is real, but this album was part of a lot at an estate sale, and have no reason to think it is not real.
