Auschwitz Too Late c/w Journey Through The Night 7"(Black) Night Gallery NG-001
This indepedndent record, released in Japan in 1985 is... CRAZY RARE and a really important piece of the Alchemy Records / Hijokaidan puzzle. Auschwitz is the band of Naoto Hayashi who founded one of the first independent labels in Osaka, Unbalance in 1980 and Co-founded Alchemy Records with Jojo Hiroshige in 1984. He's also in Hijokaidan, and Nankai Hawkwind with Eye from the Boredoms ALLLLL the way back in 87. This record is on the label NIGHT GALLERY ALLLLL the way back in 85, later in 2003 to 2005 Jojo released a series of 3 compilation CDS clled Night Gallery documenting the Japanese underground psychedelic scene. Naoto sadly died in 2003 and that series, referencing this label is surely Jojo's tribute to his long time friend. SO yea, very important historical record, and two amazing sides of smoky night psychedelic ROCK. NM. RARE.
