Honolulu-based record label Aloha Got Soul finally repress Aura's excellent self-titled album with the original track listing and original cover art. Unlike the 2016 reissue, this one includes closing track, 'Can't Waste No Time' and comes with new liner notes. The band were a pivotal creative force made up of eight siblings from the Mendoza family who were active int he 70s and 80s. Each tune brims with musicianship as well as grooves doused in funk and soul and plenty of sunniness, as you would expect of a Hawaiian band. It's a glorious record that lives up to its enduring hype.
