Notes : music and orchestra Augusto Martelli. A music library mainly based on funk and Latin & Brazilian rhythms. Here and there a hint of rock-blues and jazzy sonorities. All the nine tunes are truly exciting but how not to mention " JELLYBEANS " plenty of funky sound on a strong percussive tapestry, " HANDSOME " performed by a romantic jazzy piano, " SUMMERMIND " where the disco-vocalisms are interrupted by the presence of a rockin' electric guitar, " TRUE BLUE SAMBA ", characterized by an explosive mix among a great drumming, the jazzy sonorities of the keyboards and the electric guitar with distortions on a Brazilian music background.
The line-up : Augusto Martelli, keyboards, percussions - Ugo Heredia and Giorgio Baiocco, tenor saxes, flutes - Giuliano Bernicchi, trumpet, flugelhorn - Ernesto Verardi and Sergio Farina, guitars - Giancarlo Romani, trombone - Pino Presti, electric bass - Tullio De Piscopo, drums - The Real McCoy Singers, vocals.
