Title: Eiji Kitamura – Swing Sessions

Original first Japanese pressing from 1978 on RCA, RDC-10. Extremely rare Limited Direct-To-Disc Edition, part of the HIGHEST FIDELITY DIRECT MASTER SERIES. Contains a record-sized 4 pages inserts with microphone-setting, photos, lyrics of the 2 vocal tracks, lots of infos in Japanese etc. A hard to find true audiophile highlight ! I also offer another Direct-To-Disc pressing by E.Kitamura “30 Years in 30 Minutes”, part of the TOSHIBA PRO-USE SERIES.

Line-up: Eiji Kitamura (cl) - Ichiro Masuda (vibes) - Yoshitaka Akimitsu (p) - Yukio Ikezawa (b) - Hiroshi Sunaga (dr) - Judy Anton ( voc on both sides track 3 )

Tracks: side 1: Avalon (Jolson) - Body and soul (Heyman) - I had'nt anyone till you (Noble) - Memories of you (Razaf)

Condition: the record looks & plays in mint-. The cover has intact seams/spine, there's moderate shelf- & cornerwear, overall ex.The insert is in mint-. Please look at all 7 photos !

Grading & Cleaning:

  • the record has been cleaned on my professional HANNL record cleaning machine

  • after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )

  • I also visually graded the record under a strong light

  • only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg.

  • cleaned records are stored in a new deluxe innersleeve and they are placed in a new PVC protection-sleeve !
