Kazuo Yashiro (Japanese ? ? ?? , Yashiro Kazuo ; born February 10, 1930 in Tokyo Prefecture , died July 13, 1991) was a Japanese jazz pianist.Kazuo Yashiro played in the backing band of the singer Kiyoko Maruyama at the end of the 1950s , with whom the first recordings were made (Tokyo Canaries) and with Hideo Shiraki. In 1960 he played in the band selected by the Swing Journal readers' jury (Far East Coast Jazz, with Akira Fukuhara, Akira Miyazawa, Hideto Kanai, Hideo Shiraki), in the following years with Sadao Watanabe and Toshiyuki Miyama. In 1965 he recorded several titles (including the Standard Autumn Leaves) for the King label for the first time. In 1967 he was again a member of the Swing Journal All Stars (including with Eiji Kitamura).
In the 1970s he mainly worked with his own trio (with Jimmy Takeuchi and Masanaga Harada) and recorded a number of albums such as Love Is Here to Stay (Takt, 1968), Black Nag (1969), Right Oh (Audio Lab, 1974, with Eiji Kitamura), Side By Side (with Ikuo Shiosaki, Masanaga Harada, Taketoshi Igarashi), My Ideal (Audio Lab, 1975, with Muneyoshi Nishiyo) and the duo LP Sweet and Lovely (1977 with bassist Osamu Kawamaki). He was also on recordings of Martha Miyake, Eiji Kitamura, K?nosuke Saij? and Benny Carter. In 1985 he worked in a trio with bass player Koji Toyama and drummer Hajime Ishimatsu (Don't Be That Way). In the field of jazz he was involved in 51 recording sessions between 1958 and 1985. - wikipedia

CONDITION Details:
The LP jacket is in near mint minus overall condition. The jacket is tight and clean, with NO seam splits, NO cut out marks, NO discoloration. The colors on the jacket are clean and crisp. The corners and seams show some very minor shelf wear, nothing serious - see pictures for detail as they are of the actual item.

The LP is super clean with perhaps a very light spider mark or two and the odd finger print and dust. This is a very nice, very rare and collectible LP item. As this is a vintage LP, don't expect it to sound like a brand new audiophile LP....some extraneous sound is inevitable and should be expected for a vintage LP. The LP retains much of the original gloss and sheen! There are NO serious spindle marks on the record labels either.A Short Note About LP GRADING -

- Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
- Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
- Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
