Amazing and scarce ITALIAN OST by the cult maestro Armando Trovajoli featuring the great backing group I MARC 4 accompained by Edda Dell'Orso scats and Alessandro Alessandroni's whistle, with the addiction of Lydia Mc Donald vocals. Great, rough session recorded for the original soundtrack of "IL COMMISSARIO PEPE" cult Cop Drama movie starring Ugo Tognazzi. Superb score and a true classic from the maestro music production that brings the unmistakable sound of the infamous I MARC quartet with all the groovy Jazz-Funk beats of the incredible main "THEME", the shaky tempo edit "MASQUERADE" (sampled by Hip Hop artists), the melhanconic refrain of "BEAT FOR A NUN", and the outstanding moody "FINAL" theme with heavy orchestra exploitation. LEGENDARY ITALIAN OST, not to be missed!
