Asva is a band co-founded and lead by both G. Stuart Dahlquist and B.R.A.D.. They played together as the rhythm section of the band - Burning Witch (during the Rift Canyon Dreams era). Together they laid legendary waste underneath the ear splitting vocals and flesh peeling guitars of Burning Witch. Some years after the demise of the Witch, the two decided it was time to take heavy music to another place. Asva was born. The first incarnation of Asva featured the guitar of Dylan Carlson. Dylan Carlson is best known for his work with the legendary drone rock band Earth. This version of Asva never played live - but the unique recording of a song called "Caprichos 1-80" (recorded June, 2003), is featured here. On the flipside is the missing track "Rift Canyon Dreams", a wet dream to most BW addicts. A word about the cover, which is hand folded, hand numbered and extremely nicely done. A real piece of art! Extremely limited to 475 pieces!
