Description
This is a rare original copy of the excellent THE ASTRUD GILBERTO ALBUM LP by ASTRUD GILBERTO on Verve Records (V-8608) from 1965. An absolutely essential Latin/jazz/Bossanova record from this legendary artist! The vinyl is in VG- condition with some light marks and wear, some paper flaking on the B-side label from moisture exposure, as pictured, and some audible surface noise (light crackle); not for the most demanding audiophiles, but an enjoyable copy without skips or other anomalies. The cover is in POOR condition with some minor scuffs and light speckle staining on the front side and much more obvious paper flaking and dry mold from moisture exposure on the backside, as pictured, and signs of dry mold inside the sleeve as well. There is also a five-inch seam split at the bottom right edge.
