Vuelvo al Sur is a song with a tango rhythm written by Astor Piazzolla, with lyrics by Pino Solanas. The song was composed as part of the soundtrack for the film Solanas, Sur, in 1988. Movie: Vuelvo al Sur is part of the soundtrack of Sur, a film by Fernando Pino Solanas, from 1988. Within the film, it is heard at the end, with the credits, interpreted by Roberto Goyeneche on voice and Néetor Marconi on bandoneon. The song is related to Sur by Aníbal Troilo, also present in the film. Recordings: The piece by Piazzolla and Solanas was widely covered, and particularly notable are the interpretations of Roberto Goyeneche, Mercedes Sosa, Caetano Veloso, among others. Goyeneche's version, which is the first, was included in the soundtrack of the film Sur . It was also recorded by Goyeneche himself in 1989, together with the bandoneonist Nestor Marconi, on the album Tangos del sur.
