Here's ANOTHER hard to find album in GREAT condition..

This album will knock you for six..It's tremendous!..

Afro jazz with loads of congas,steaming solos from Mongezi Feza and Dudu Pukwa,hard riffing horns and funky bits..There are also some gentle tracks with some great female vocals on "Nice African folk songs"..

Jade Warrior also help out on some tracks (presumable the bass playing and guitar work)..

An ESSENTIAL album..

Issued on Philips in 1971..6308 079..UK pressing in a fully laminated Roger Dean sleeve..

The matrix numbers are 1Y 2  and 2Y 2...It's a first pressing (it sold badly and was never re pressed)..

Play grade is MINT..Not a grade I use too readily (actually,I HAVE used it a few times on my current listings!),but this has no crackle,no clicks,no pops,no audio defects and a big fat clean sound that just bursts out of the speakers...If that's not mint I don't know what is!.

The disc looks as good as it plays..To the naked eye,it has no scratches or scuffs and it still gleams..Strong light reveals a few light hairlines but only on the B side...This disc looks superb!..

The disc plays flat on the deck with no edge warps or dishing..

The labels are undamaged..There is absolute minimal spindle wear..I would suggest that this disc has had TWO plays maximum!... 

The sleeve is NEAR MINT..There is just a hint of dischape and the laminate has a few light hairlines (You have to angle the disc to the light to see them)..It has NO other defects or damage..

It has no rips,tears,seam splits,stains, scribble,stickers or sellotape or other such defects..The colours are unfaded,the edges straight..The spine is square and undamaged with clearly legible text..

You are welcome to collect this in person or  from The Southend Record Fair (11th May,8th June) and then the second Sunday in each month)..Where there are LOADS of great albums and singles offered for sale...

Venue for this fair is West Leigh Schools on the A13..SS9 2JB...Record collections always wanted!.
