ASD 445-448 white/gold – WAGNER: TANNHAUSER - KONWITSCHNY
1961 HMV stereo recording on white/gold labels catalogue numbers ASD 445-448 (SLS 764). Boxed set of 4-LPs with cast leaflet and 54-page libretto. Franz Konwitschny conducts the Chorus and Orchestra of the German State Opera, Berlin, in Wagner’s "Tannhauser" with soloists Elizabeth Grummer, Hans Hopf, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Gottlob Frick, etc.
The 4 discs are in superb clean and shiny condition with no visible marks; we have not played them. The leaflet and libretto are excellent. Box is intact with some scuffing at edges and corners.
