HAYDN - CELLO CONCERTO in D Major, Op. 101
MONN - CELLO CONCERTO in G Minor

Rare lp. Excellent and highly sought after recordings featuring JACQUELINE DU PRE (cello) with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by SIR JOHN BARBIROLLI. HMV/EMI semi-circle label 1st UK release.
This lp (along with others I'm selling this week) was owned by a du Pre family member and this one has their name signed on the rear

CAT. NO. ASD 2466 on HMV/EMI Records

The sleeve is in excellent condition. The vinyl is in excellent condition. There is a tiny scuff on the run-in groove on side 1 which creates about eight soft tics. On side two there is a couple of miniscule styus marks which create six then later eight & three tics. The lp plays superbly with some minor surface noise in places - still this is a fantastic condition copy of this very rare lp - I have just described all the faults in detail to ensure satisfaction.
