Description

Beautiful copy of the original 1958 stereo pressing of Arthur Lyman's classic Taboo LP on High Fidelity SR-806. This is the original version in a mono cover with the catalog number R-806, with a stereo sticker and the SR-806 disc. The difference between the mono and stereo is unbelievable. Really the stereo version is quite an experience, with all the tropical bird sounds and such coming at you from all angles...  anyhow this is truly one of the top classics of the exotica era, and sounds better than ever. This copy is just beautiful, as well. The disc has barely the slightest signs of use and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. The cover only has light wear, mainly a little fraying at the spine, and an edge ding at the bottom. Not terrible. See photos. This is a top, lovely original, hard to beat.
