Description

WELCOME BACK...

  • This is my last round of Christmas record auctions for the year. Buy-It-Now prices are available for most of my Christmas music -- the sooner you choose and pay the sooner you will have them to enjoy before the season is over. The records are all really tasty and rare, and you owe it to yourself to check them all out, especially now that I'm offering FREE MEDIA POSTAGE to the USA, no matter how many items you win!

  • If you are one of my international friends, the above free postage offer is not available. However, I do try to keep your costs down by not charging extra for handling. Keep in mind that you are responsible for customs fees which are based on the selling price of the item(s) bought. I may elect to insure a particularly valuable parcel against loss or damage, at my own expense. The parcel value will be clearly shown on the outside, therefore it will not make sense to claim a lesser amount for customs. For multiple auctions won add $3 for each additional LP (double LP sets count as two LPs, triple LP sets count as three LPs, etc.).

  • Unless specified otherwise, all records are graded visually to Goldmine standards. Playgrading rarely happens because there isn't time to listen to every record I offer. I if I have playgraded this item, it will be mentioned it in the description below.

Thanks to all for looking, best of luck, and

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

ARTHUR GODFREY Christmas 1940s Box Album 78 RPM E!

  • Vintage 78 rpm four-record boxed set, USA pressing from the 1940s. The records in this set range from high VG+ to Excellent condition! Features THE MARINERS, JANETTE DAVIS, ARTHUR GODFREY, JULIUS LA ROSA, LU ANN SIMMS, FRANK PARKER AND MARION MARLOWE, THE MCGUIRE SISTERS, HALELOKE, AND ORCHESTRA AND CHORUS UNDER THE DIRECTION OF ARCHIE BLEYER.

  • Box condition: VG+, very light age-related shelf wear, no more than a few gently bumped and worn corner, and the binding is holding fast.

I have been buying and selling vintage records professionally by mail for years. I know how to pack records and their jackets for safe and speedy shipment, double-boxing when warranted (or when asked for and paid for by the winner) and using industry-preferred boxes and mailers with sufficient cushioning material.

INTERNATIONAL BUYER INFORMATION:

  • Add $3 per each additional LP. Double record sets count as two LPs, triple record sets count as three, etc.

  • When shipping to France and Italy I will use only USPS Priority rate, because it offers free tracking and insurance. Too many "lost" packages to these countries for some reason. If you cannot afford proper postage then this record is not for you.

  • Finally, import duty taxes are the responsibilty of the buyer. I will not honor any request that I misrepresent parcel value or other information on the customs form.
